The "Slip-on"
tail pipes are fitted into the original systems using a short junction pipe;
the "Bolt-on" versions use a flange, which joins to that on
the original system.
Both are available in oval versions, with a choice of aluminum, carbon fiber
or titanium outer skin.

silencer internals are all stainless steel, welds included, to minimize
corrosion. Both end caps, the header pipes, brackets, and all
fasteners are also stainless and are subjected to a surface treatment
called "Scotch Bright". This consists of an
automated polishing operation, followed by hand polishing. |

Soundproofing material
The
inner structure works with fully tested competition soundproofing: this is
made from special ceramic fiber to which chemical binding agents are added
and is able to resist constant temperatures of up to
850°C, withstanding peaks of
1000°C.The
diameter and length of the fiber guarantee effective soundproofing and
improved mechanical resistance, preventing the dispersion of exhaust
fumes. Even the rivets that hold the end caps in place have been
specially designed for use where high levels of resistance to pressure
and total exhaust gas-proofing are required.
The
Carbon fiber outer casing is protected against the high temperatures
reached inside the tailpipe by a thin sheet of aluminum (2/10 mm), which
insulates the composite material and maintains itŐs features with age. The
Aluminum outer casing is extruded, therefore it fits the muffler
perfectly, preventing exhaust gases from leaking. The titanium outer
casing is made by calendaring a foil, 7/10 mm thick and is welded
lengthwise in as inert Argon environment. Titanium guarantees a
strength similar to that of steel, with 50% less weight. |

Performance:
| LeoVince has designed the SBK racing cans
range to offer enhanced performance from the engine, with increased
torque and power throughout the range. This includes better mid-range
torque, an increase in maximum power and a less noticeable drop in power
at maximum revs (which equals faster acceleration with more over-rev).
The exhaust has a sporting note to it, while the weight is considerably
less than the stock system. There is also increased resistance to
mechanical and thermal stress. POWER LeoVince SBK racing cans increase power in the mid-range
and at the top end, by between 5 and 10%. Maximum power is always
increased, and the systems are designed to avoid the steep drop off in
power at the maximum revs which is characteristic of stock systems.
TORQUE The increase in power over the mid-range is far more
significant in terms of torque. the motorcycle accelerates faster and
there is a major benefit in ride ability.
